Sometimes I put my kids in front of the tv while I'm getting dinner ready for fear that they'll drive me nuts if I don't. But on the days when I decree "no tv" they'll keep themselves beautifully occupied.

Due to financial situations beyond my control, we've had to deny our kids certain things. It's hard because you want to give it to them, but there's something to be said for wanting something, and I mean truly wanting it. Kids today don't "want" stuff because their parents always give it to them.

Okay, I'll get off my soapbox now. If I get ten, I'll do a post on any (clean) subject you want.Momma Emhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01075769462130524701noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33623446.post-55523192034059335652008-02-19T19:34:00.000-07:002008-02-19T19:34:00.000-07:00I absoluetly LOVED it! I did have to laugh - while I was reading the article the Ad that was popping up had to do with how to "never be stuck for something to do with the kids" by planning things for them to do in London. That was just too ironic for me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
