Wow, I cannot believe that it has been almost a year since I last posted anything. There have been some huge changes in our lives since last April.
We moved away from Hawaii at the end of May and spent the summer traveling and spending time with our folks. We had a large family reunion in northern Idaho (gorgeous!) where DaddyLove saw his first wild bear then drove through Glacier National Park (SO beautiful!) and picked out our very first home in Montana. Then we took another trip to South Dakota to attend my bro-in-law's wedding. And then another to Kansas to visit my family and then back to southern Idaho to D's parents' house. By the time we finally moved to Montana we'd driven over 10,000 miles.
So after six years in Hawaii we are finally experiencing a cold winter...and it is COLD. Montana has evidently been having the harshest winter in several decades. The temperature has been in the negatives quite often and even reached -29 this morning. I have honestly been enjoying all the beautiful snow and am kinda happy that this winter is so unusually harsh because it will make every following winter seem easy and mellow. ....I hope.
